My name is Melissa Marsh and I am delighted to be part of the Hokes Bluff family. I have been teaching since 2001 and have been at Hokes Bluff since 2012. I have taught grades 6-12 and college English. I am highly qualified for both reading and English for grades 6-12 and Computer Science Discoveries. I love being in the classroom.
I grew up just across the county line in Ohatchee and I still live in Calhoun County with my three precious, and often boisterous, children: Tucker, Katie, and William.
In my free time I enjoy reading, cooking, hiking, crafting, gardening, and working on my (very new) golf game.
I hold three degrees in Secondary English Education - a B.S. and M.S. from Jacksonville State University and an Ed.S. from The University of Alabama. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. from UA in Instructional Technology. ROLL TIDE!
