    My name is Pam Stanley and I teach 6th Grade English Language Arts at Hokes Bluff Middle School.This is my 12th year to teach at Hokes Bluff. I taught for 7 years at West End Elementary, and at Gaston Elementary for one year.
    Before that I taught kindergarten and 5th grade in Rome, Georgia.  I taught Reading Recovery and
    Writing to K-3 and 6th Grades.  Then I made the move to 2nd grade and then to kindergarten before taking my new assignment at Hokes Bluff. I am excited about being at Hokes Bluff. I look forward to meeting all of the parents of my students in the coming weeks. I am a certified teacher. I have a B.S in Elementary Education from Jacksonville State University and a M.A. in Education (English as a Second Language) from UAB. I also teach ESL students 2 nights a week at Gadsden State Community College. I enjoy teaching all subjects but my favorite subject is Reading .  I want to do everything I can to make school a wonderful place for your children.
     
    I have a wonderful family. My husband Jeff is a Counselor at Collinsville Elementary. He is also an assistant football coach and the head soccer coach. 
     My oldest daughter, Jessica is a nurse at Mountainview Hospital. My son Ryan is an Elementary teacher. He teaches Science at Winterboro Middle School in Talledega County.  He is married to Kayla . Kayla is a nurse at Gadsden Regional.I am a proud Dottie to Payton Ryne Stanley, my first granddaughter. She was born on July 1st of 2017 
    My youngest daughter is Anna. She is 13 years old and is in the eighth grade at Hokes Bluff Middle. 
     She will be our first little an eagle  among all the yellow jackets but that is just fine with
    me. GO EAGLES!
     
     
    My dog BenMy dog Ben. He was so funny.
    My dog Ben passed away on February 17, 2017.
